Strathclyde Engineering for Development is helping to transform lives by funding projects in Nepal, India and Africa which are providing life-changing engineering solutions in remote communities, whilst creating powerful learning experiences for our students.
The Nepal Schools Project aims to transform the lives of children affected by the 2015 earthquakes, which destroyed over 8,000 schools.
Using the combined expertise of students and staff in the Engineering Faculty, two seismic and flood proof school has been successfully completed and a third school is currently under construction. The schools are in the most disadvantaged areas with some of the most marginalized communities in Nepal.
Together we can change the lives of many pupils. Your donation will enable the construction of a safe school for children to learn and thrive.
Please support Strathclyde Engineering for Development today by making a regular or one-off donation.
